Tinbergenlezing


Op vrijdag 23 april 2010 werd de 23e Tinbergenlezing wederom gezamenlijk met de NAKE-dag gehouden bij de Universiteit van Utrecht. Professor André Sapir van de Université Libre de Bruxelles nam de lezing voor zijn rekening.

De lezing was getiteld: 'Can EMU survive without closer integration?' en werd gehouden in het Auditorium van het University College te Utrecht. 

Sapir doceert internationale handel en de Europese integratie. Hij is tevens Senior Fellow van de Brusselse Europese en Global Economic Laboratory (BRUEGEL) en lid van Barroso's Economic Advisory Group voor de Europese Commissie. Hij was voorzitter van de High-Level Study Group, die in 2003 het invloedrijke rapport 'Een agenda voor een groeiend Europa', beter bekend als het 'Sapir-rapport' heeft uitgebracht.
